NASA showing it has some personality -- the two new Mars surface rovers have been named Duck Dodgers and Marvin. Mission patches.

I suppose it's a good thing they didn't use Wile E. Coyote. The results probably would have been disastrous. And poetic.

That rocks! And yes, ACME rovers probably wouldn't be real good for NASA's image right about now.
